Not Scanning /Intermittent Scanning
- Ensure targeted barcode is shaded from external lights sources before scanning.
- May use hand to decrease the amount of light.
- Ensure barcode scanner button is being pressed firmly while aiming at the desired barcode.
- Check barcode scanner wire:
- Secure cord tightly
- Check for damage fringes
- Power Reset EDSQ:
- Turn off power switch located below the bill acceptor, wait ten (10) seconds and then turn it back on.
- Wait for the EDSQ to completely reboot.
- Test barcode scanner
