Pack Activation Process

When Scratcher tickets are activated, they are ready for sale and may be validated by any NC Lottery Retailer.

To activate a pack on the Flex terminal, use the following procedure:

  1. Touch Instant Functions.

  1. Touch Activate Pack(s).

  1. Scan the barcode on the ticket pack using the barcode scanner.
                            OR
    Enter the Game Number and Book Number using the numeric keypad. 

  2. Repeat for each pack that you would like to activate; entered Packs will appear in the column on the left of the screen.

  3. When all packs are entered, touch Send.

  4. The pack(s) will be activated and ready for sale. An acknowledgement screen displays and a receipt prints.

  1. Touch OK to return to Home Screen.

 

Unable to Activate

If unable to Activate tickets - contact the North Carolina Lottery Ticket Sales Department.
