Bill Acceptor Troubleshooting

  1. Open the Main Door of the terminal with the key labeled MD, then unlock bill acceptor door using the key labeled BA- Insert key and turn to the right, and gently pull the door forward.

  2. Place fingers on the black groove and chrome bar and squeeze and lift to release the bill acceptor head from the bill acceptor - this allows the clearing of any jammed bills.

  1. Clean bill acceptor using a soft dry, clean cloth, lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol and wipe both the top and bottom clean.
  1. Replace the bill acceptor by reinserting it back into the groove it came from and press down firmly so it locks into place. If the bill acceptor is put into its proper position it will reset after 10 seconds.
