No Read / Error Message

  1. Ensure targeted barcode is shaded from external light sources before scanning.

  2. Ensure barcode scanner button is being pressed firmly while aiming at the desired barcode.

  3. Check barcode scanner wire:

    • Secure cord tightly.

    • Check for damage or frayed wire.

  4. Power Reset EDSQ:

    • Turn off power switch located below the bill acceptor.

    • Wait ten (10) seconds and then turn it back on.

    • Wait for the EDSQ to completely reboot.

  5. Test barcode scanner.
