Error Message 003/004

Verify paper is loaded correctly and the platen bar is locked down.

Printer Problems

1. Verify paper is thermal and loaded properly.

   • Pull the black platen forward to open the paper load pathway.

   • Paper should be loaded so that it comes down to the printer from BEHIND the roll (The shiny face of the paper is towards the back).

   • Paper must feed underneath the Black Platen/the platen must then be locked down on the paper.

   • Push the black platen closed; if this is not done the paper will not feed properly and error message 003 will appear.

2. Power reset EDSQ using the power switch (pictured below) located below the bill acceptor access panel.
