How to Help


The majority of Hoosier Lottery players play responsibly and with positive playing habits. When a player may need help, we have several options for your use.

  • Press the “Problem Gambling Helpline” button on the terminal, and then discreetly place the print out in the player’s bag or with their Lottery purchases

  • Direct players to the Hoosier Lottery website and smartphone app for resource information. Mention that the Hoosier Lottery website has a chat feature to connect players to help.

  • Identify the Responsible Gaming logo on the back of Hoosier Lottery tickets, playslips, or marketing material and let them know that the Hoosier Lottery wants retailers to remind players where to find it

  • Direct players to the Play Center to pick up a Responsible Gaming flyer, a takeaway item containing resources and helpful information.
