No Read / Error Message

  1. Ensure that the ticket being scanned has not expired and is legitimate.

  2. Check the condition of ticket barcode to ensure it is not damaged or misprinted.

  3. Clean lens of bar code scanner with a soft dry cloth.

  4. Reset the terminal by one of these methods:

    1. Power reset by toggling ON/OFF switch.

    2. Unplugging terminal from wall for 10 seconds then plugging back in. (Ensure the outlet is dedicated to lottery equipment only.)

  5. Test scanner again.
